Yes, I offer online therapy across the state of Utah.

In our first session I’ll verbally cover the highlights of the intake paperwork that clients sign. I’ll describe a bit about what therapy with me looks like and answer questions that you have. Then I’ll ask more questions about what specifically you are struggling with, your life history, and how you would like things to be or feel different. At the end of the session we will discuss how it felt and if you’d like to move forward with regular therapy.

On consult calls I ask what’s been going on for you and what are you looking for in therapy. The consult is an opportunity to ask questions and chat to determine if we are a good fit for each other. Therapy is vulnerable and can be challenging--feeling safe enough to show up authentically is vital. Whether you have specific questions, or just want to see how talking on the phone feels, both are important.
Before our first appointment, I will send you a link to a client portal and some intake paperwork. Its helpful if you complete these at least 24 hours in advance to our first session so I can review them before we meet.

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care (including mental health services) will cost under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act. You have the right, at the time of service or upon request, in both oral and written form, to be notified what your expected charges will be. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

In the natural world, resonance is an object's capacity to vibrate at a higher amplitude when it encounters an external source that vibrates in sync with its own. Therapy is like that.
When an empathic other is attuned to our emotional experience and deeply hearing and seeing us, there’s an emotional resonance that occurs. This is the foundation of the therapeutic process, of healing, and of growth. Research has repeatedly shown that, above and beyond any particular therapy modality, the relationship between a client and their therapist is one of the largest factors in positive therapeutic outcomes. It is essential to find the right fit.
